Social media is about sharing; you know that. When it comes to recruitment, it’s also about sharing, but to share, you have to have someone to share with. It’s about building a group or community around you. Some say that job applications through job search only represent 20% of the actual job market. Some say most jobs are being filled through reaching out to candidates found on social media, or through referrals. That may be true, but whether they search for candidates or they receive applications, recruiters still struggle making their choices. Have you used social media for getting a job?
